Looks like a pretty even trade... But giving up Gates is always tough, even for a big stud in Dallas.
Najeh Davenport is in the middle of some legal trouble right now, so Willie Parker might see some more touches at the goal line if last week's waiver wire darling is distracted/disposed.
Personally, I'd take that deal, but try a counter-offer to see if you can get some more out of Gates. Act like you're not sold on Clark, worried about Najeh... If he really wants Gates--which I bet he does--and has some depth at a position, pick on that.

Well he pretty much has a stinky team. He has Boldin and Owens but as in I have no TE if I make the trade I would need dallas. And Jordan may have a 3-4 awesome games but his back is an issue. At least with willie I know I am probably on avg gonna get 10 pts every game though I know najeh has been pickpocketing tds a lot. Dallas is hot right now and I know Gates is pretty rockin prob for the whole season. Im leanin on a yes and this dood wont throw in any extras cuz he doesnt have any extras lol.

It might be having to convince him that one of his studs isn't so stud-like. And then trade him for a lesser stud.
Anquan Boldin is a good buy-low candidate, in my opinion. Before he was injured, Kurt Warner hit him for those 2 TDs and seemed to have a nice repoire. Now, he's spreading all those gaudy numbers over to Fitz. If you can somehow offer him a lesser WR2 packaged in with the existing deal, I think you can get away with that.
Express hesitation about Dallas' production...how it should taper off when all the receivers get back. Personally, I think it will, but not too much. Try that counter. Otherwise, I'd be leaning towards 'yes' because of Willie Parker and the Oakland RB committee, but it's still got a lot of doubt for giving up Antonio.

Do you think this trade is good then:
Ronald Curry + Jordan + Gates for Boldin, Parker, Clark?
I have holmes and crotchery but I think later in the season they become #1's in their offense

Do you think this trade is good then: Ronald Curry + Jordan + Gates for Boldin, Parker, Clark? I have holmes and crotchery but I think later in the season they become #1's in their offense A1, I would do this trade in a split second! Boldin might miss week 6, but he will be healthy moving forward. Parker has had tons of yards thus far, but hasn't been able to find the paydirt as consistently as he would like. As the season goes on , that will change. Look for him to have a HUGE second half. Plus Dallas Clark is on pace for 16 TD's. Now, he wont finish with that many, but don't be surprised if he ends the season with 10-12 scores. Basically you are getting a top 8 running back, and top 20 wide receiver and a top 3 tight end for a top 25 running back (with rhodes back and Jordan being banged up he loses value) , a top 40 receiver and the Best tight end. However, Gates big time value does not make this trade worth turning down. Go grab yourself some Fast Willie Parker right now!!! BTW, I love SSH approach on expressing hesitation about players you are going to receive, and downplaying them. I do it all the time, and it works the majority of the time! People are gulliable, esp. if you are an established owner in your league. -Cavigs Bruno Boys Fantasy Football

It definitely works. I've found that, when people give you an offer, all they're really doing is low-balling you from the start. And that's really the only tactic they bring to the table.
Once you know who they want, you can convince them that the people they're giving up aren't really that important. They're obviously high on your guy and they never forget that one week their stud put up a paltry 3 points.
I really like that trade; that's exactly what I was talking about. Now you're the clear winner in two of the three players and only a slight loser on the TEs. That's a quality trade.

He will only do Clark + Parker for Jordan + Gates? Should I do it still?

I think I'd pull the trigger. LT is more involved, meaning less looks for Gates. And Jordan is going to be worthless soon enough.

Thanks bro. I pulled the trigger. Big ups to Bruno Boys for the great site. I heard that Jordan is on and off in the game aganist the chargers they had to dose him in and out due to his back and rhodes will get carries. At least we know with parker we know his coach said he is going to ride him to his wheels come off and he is a more consitent play and I do like Manning throwing to my TE then rivers. Thanks for all your advice!
