i feel for you guys who got drew brees as your #1 qb. talk about starting the season off in the wrong direction. and deuce/bush? ewh, tough start boys.
maybe i'm just in a good mood because my week 1 opponent had both Brees and McAllister in his starting lineup. hehe.

Rony, Tell me about it. So much for this game being a shootout. Well, it was a shootout for the Colts offense, but boy did the Saints offense come out flat. I had a good feeling that the Colts would beat them pretty good, but I figured the Saints were good for 20-24 points. It's safe to say that this could be the worst offensive performance for the Saints in 2007. They still have the weapons to light up the scoreboard. The Colts were just pumped up and wanted to send a statement to the league that they are ready to repeat. In my main money league, the guy I play has Brees, so I am loving the outcome there. I really thought he was good for 2 scores. On the flip side, I had Bush in that league and his 3 points could bite me in the butt. Hopefully Addai's 19 points on that team can make up for Bush. It should be a fun season, and if 1 game is any indication of who might be the early Super Bowl favorites.... its the Colts. -Cavigs Bruno Boys Fantasy Football

Well lets not get ahead of ourselves with Indy-love saying they'll repeat. So what, they torched a team who has a suspect defense, and held strong at the back. It's a given that they'll be atop their division, [light schedule in first half of season] but lets see how they do against the heavy defenses suchas the pats the bears the chargers ravens, etc. they just picked on that one corner who got burned 3 times; seems like he was a bit confused out there. although i must say, the result was impressive. as much of a indy-bashing pro NE fan that i can be, i'd be lying if i said it was unimpressive. Idk if this is a sign of things to come for NO but for their sake i hope not. As for results, here it is so far. league 1 - other guy had brees and mcallister, but torched me with reggie wayne. overall i still feel comfortable as his qb and #2 combined for 5 pts. i've still got my entire team minus olindo mare, who racked up a decent 4 pts [although that 50+ yarder would've been awesome]. league 2 - other guy had addai. racked up a solid 18pts. I had vinatieri who got a dream 11 pts. i feel good about both games, best of luck to you guys!

Dude, the guy with the 10th pick in our league took Reggie Bush and Brees with his first two picks. Guess what...he is 1-3. When did he get his first win? Week 4 when the Saints were on bye. He just traded Brees away for Matt Schaub though which is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

Drew Brees has been this years version of Lamont Jordan of 2006. If he fails to get the job done again in week 5, I strongly consider either benching him for the rest of the season or trying to trade him.
However, I have a feeling the Saints used the bye week to shape up and will put points up on the board against the Carolina Panthers.
This is why I love fantasy football, so much research involved, so many questions asked, it is the most entertaining hobby there is!
