I thought this was proper etiquette for a NFL Football Forum.
Bill Walsh was a pure champion. 3 Super Bowl Rings in his 10 year tenure with the San Francisco 49ers. He was called a "genius" by fellow coaches and players around the league. His installation of the West Coast Offense revolutionized the NFL to what it is today.
Here's to you Bill Walsh. You will be missed and always remembered for the great things you did in the NFL.

I believe he has 18 former assistants that are head coaches in the NFL right now, and if you take the Dungy tree and expand it out further Walsh has his ideals in almost every franchise.

Walsh definitely changed the face of the game, and with as many assistants and assistants of those assisstants who are still some of the best in the game today, no one can argue that. There are very few NFL teams who have not been influenced in some way by Bill.
I did not become a Niners fan until the George Siefert era, but its safe to say that the things Bill did made a Niners fan out of a southern Alabama boy. Rest in peace Coach!
