This is my first foray into fantasy football. I joined a group at work and thought it would be a great way to get into the male mind and hang out with my husband!! I am so into this!! I have a basic knowledge of football (I was a cheerleader) I'm partial to the Redskins as I have 2 sisters who were Redskinettes and a father who was in the Redskins band. Believe it or not, I also like the Cowboys...go figure! My team is doing pretty well so far (deep into week 1). It consists of: QB Tony Romo, Jason Campbell RB Frank Gore, Marshawn Lynch, Maurice Jones-Drew WR Steve Smith, Santonio Holmes, Darrell Jackson, Mark Clayton TE Kellen Winslow, Heath Miller K Jason Elam, Joe Nedney Defense Eagles

Its a good team, Jones-Drew will come around and I think you have 2 sleepers at WR in Holmes and Clayton. I don't like Tony Romo, but that didn't stop me from drafting him also. Top player of the week.

Raesma,
Welcome. The Bruno Boys will welcome you shortly I'm sure.
With Romo and S.Smith I guessing you had a pretty good 1st weekend. Congrats.
Good luck this season and I look forward to seeing you on the boards.

It is always nice to have a new face on these boards and we look forward to helping you throughout the fantasy football season. I am glad you joined a fantasy football league at work and you are using it as a way to bond with the husband. Good thinking there, until you play in the same league as him and start beating him!! Also, I am glad you have general knowledge of football, it goes along way when playing fantasy football. Seems like your family is pretty hard core Redskins fans, it must kill them to know you like the Cowboys also!! As for your team, Romo looks to be a nice pick at the QB position, but let's see how he fares against better secondaries. I really like your running backs, and I think Frank Gore will bounce back and have a big game in Week 2. Your wide receivers are solid, a bit thin, but you have an up and comer in Holmes, consistency in Jackson and a super star in Smith. Let's hope Clayton bounces back after a slow Week 1. Good job at the TE position, Winslow looked healthy and primed in the opener. Elam and Nedney are solid kickers, not great but consistent fantasy kickers, which is nice. Surprisingly I like the Eagles defense, they shut down the Packers all afternoon and should be able to force turnovers. Great job in your first draft! Keep the posts coming on the board and best of luck throughout the season. -Cavigs Co Owner, Bruno Boys Fantasy Football
