Just ran through a ten team mock from the 9 spot on fantasyfootball calculator. Would like feedback about the biggest reaches/steals I made in this draft, and an overall rating/outlook for my team.
Rules
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1D/ST, 1K
QB pass TD = 6pts
everything else standard scoring
(in parenthesis means they were picked soon after mine)
Rd.1 - Pick 9 - LaDanian Tomlinson - (Chris Johnson and D Williams)
Rd.2 - Pick 12 - Andre Johnson - (Moss, Portis, Gore)
Rd.3 - Pick 29 - Greg Jennings - (B. Marshall and Welker)
Rd.4 - Pick 32 - Philip Rivers - Brady, Brees, Manning, and Warner fell in 3rd round. (Housh, TO, and Ronnie Brown)
Rd.5 - Pick 49 - Pierre Thomas - 2nd back, missed McFadden by 1 spot
Rd.6 - Pick 52 - Knowshon Moreno
Rd.7 - Pick 69 - Darren Sproles - Wanted to secure the handcuff
Rd.8 - Pick 72 - Jonathan Stewart - thought of getting my TE or going Receiver, but the values was too good, plus PThomas and LT have same bye week.
Rd.9 - Pick 89 - Donnie Avery
Rd.10 - Pick 92 - Owen Daniels
Rd.11 - Pick 109 - Ben Roethlisberger
Rd.12 - Pick 112 - Jets Defense
Rd.13 - Pick 129 - Hakeem Nicks
Rd.14 - Pick 132 - Dominik Hixon (one of these 2 is going to have to step up)
Rd.15 - Pick 149 - Neil Rackers
Personal thoughts - I definitely didn't pay enough attention to bye weeks, and will have to work on that. I may have waited to long for a WR 4, as 3 WR start every week. I was a little concerned picking Owen Daniels after grabbing Andre Johnson, but at this point, I felt that Daniels was the only one left in his tier.
The TEs left were Keller, Carlson, and Shiancoe, who weren't even drafted; Scheffler and Celek both did get picked, but more than 2 rounds after my pick
Don't normally take rookie WRs, but I liked getting the tandem as there is a good chance one of them becomes the WR1 for the Giants this season
Done rambling, feedback encouraged
