Too much. Its good for the Lions who clearly need help building a team right now. Calvin will be a fine go to WR in the future.

meloco,
I think they over paid. Roy Williams is a talented WIDE RECEIVER, but I don't think he is a WR that you can properly build your franchise around. And the contract that the Cowboys signed him to leads me to believe they plan to do so once TO leaves town.
Wiliams is big, physical, can run but he doesn't have that killer instinct that guys like T.O., Jerry Rice, Reggie Wayne, etc. have/had.
Might be a nice short term fix (they needed another WR to compliment Owens) and might get them a shot at the Super Bowl title in 2008, but those three draft picks are sweet for the Lions.
Especially, considering Matt Millen won't be the ones drafting those players!

I couldn't have said that better myself Cavigs. Those three picks are HUGE for us Detroit Lioners! Roy will fit in fine with Dallas as the WR2, but from what I gather as well, this could be the end of Owens in Dallas. The plus, you get a WR that won't pregnant dog at Romo. The bad, you don't have that killer instinct as Marc said. Perhaps after he is de-lionized he will be fine. but until then, he is a player that Dallas sorely overpaid for!
