I was offered Randy Moss and Jason Campbell for Greg Jennings. My 1st inclination is to decline it, but I do need help at QB (my team is below in my signature)...so, would you take that deal?

GWB,
I do think that you can afford to make a deal like this. With Larry Fitzgerald you have your STUD WR1 who is going to produce just about every week. Also, Moss had a great game today and the Patriots showed that they made some key adjustments during their bye week. I don't expect him to be the Moss of 2007, but I wouldn't be surprised if he contributed 8-16 points on a weekly basis and if his production rivals that of Jennings on most weeks.
Also, despite having a lackluster game today, Jason Campbell has been solid thus far and he gives you another option to play matchups with on a weekly basis. Like you said, you are struggling at quarterback and this is a nice outlet to take advantage of.
If I was in your shoes, I'd roll the dice on this deal and hope that Moss can produce like he did in Week 5.
I'd be interested to see what some of the other Bruno Boys as well as Bruno Boys Nation has to say about this deal.
How did you do in Week 5?

Thanks for the advice Cavigs. I may take it and accept the offer. I would also be interested to see what the general consensus is among Bruno Boy Nation. I actually played the guy who offered me this trade and I am up by about 30 pts or so and he has Drew Brees, Bernard Berrien & Reggie Williams still to play...It'll be close, but I'm hoping I pull out the "W".

I would not take that trade for a few reasons! The first is that the trend seems to be that the #1 receiver gets the best coverage, it is then up to the qb to find the small window of opportunity to get him the ball for the big plays. Moss is an excellent receiver but his qb falls way short of being qualified to exploit match-ups. Even with all the time they had to work on game planning during their bye week Cassel still didn't have a decent day. There are no more stars in NE, only a broke down team now. The Brady & Moss show is over (for this year anyway), and all Bilicheat wants to do is win. I think that Moss will be used as great decoy for a while this season. Others like Welker and the slew of running backs they have will emerge BIG TIME! Jennings on the other hand has Rodgers with Driver being the focus of the defenses. Kinda like TO and Witten, Boulden & Fitz, and we can never forget Bobbie & Whitney! The point is (IMO) he's in a better position to be consistent and thats what wins for FF. I also think that Campbell would not be a good fit for your roster. Sure he has 3 nice match-ups coming but after that you're screwed. You can do well playing the 2qbs you have already by their weekly match-ups. Also he likes someone else that you have on your roster, thats why it's a 2 for 1 deal. Who will you be dropping to make room for the second player? Smells like a set-up to me! But the choice is yours. Ask yourself what would motivate you to offer (your opponent mind you) someone Randy Moss and Campbell for Greg Jennings. It just stinks to me. Be careful, look over his roster and yours to find out what hes up to! IMO of course Playa Slaya
