Going into Week 3, beware of players going into the bye week in week 4. They will start to lose value later this week, and next tuesday-friday, they will nosedive.
But if you know this and plan for it:
My advice is this week, drop anyone in the week 4 bye, even MEGATRON. Maybe hold on to him until his value crests, but sell him.
I really like O"Sullivan and Bruce and Gore vs. Detroit. You can pick up all three for about $63.
Next Tuesday Manning and Wayne will tank because of the bye week. If you play the three guys I suggested, you should have plenty of bank to pick up these two.
Out of the bye week, Manning should be good as gold, and you pick him and Wayne up on the cheap. And they are good for the rest of the season.
Plus, SF should score big vs. Detroit Def.

Not sure how the bye weeks work. I already purchased C Johnson who is the only player on bye next week. I am paying 4.50 per transaction with my team value over 450. Would you play him or sell him. I can break even or so at this point.

You already own him. Play him if you can sell him as soon as the market opens Tuesday. Sell him as soon as you can. He's a great play this weekend. I'll be playing Bruce. We'll see who does better.

Be online BEFORE 6:30 and keep refreshing. You will get your first trade in as soon as possible. Make this the guy you HAVE to dump. If it's a player you need to buy, you should have done it Monday night!

Also I hope that everyone is using their Watch list when making Tuesday morning trades. Just add the players you want to buy and sell on it. After the transaction is complete don't click the trading floor or roster option, just scroll up to the top of the page and go back to watch list! any more advice for more effective plays?? Does this make the transaction happen faster? Is there any way to sell off multiple players at the same time?

by going to your watch list (that you have to create by clicking the magifying glass of a player on the trading floor) you don't have to go to the trading floor and search for the players. That saves a huge amount of time when every second can mean a dollar or more at the open.
In the middle of the week, I use the watch list to track trends of players that I see might be up and coming. by monday night, i erase and select the guys I want to buy.

Well, I ran out of roster space, so I just bought Addai. But Addai at less than $25 before my transaction fees went to $4.50 a go was my best move today. He's a solid #1 at a great price. I can now rotate Lynch, Gore and Addai without spending a dime.
