It's about 8:00 A.M. on Saturday Morning and I'm sitting about $332.00 RotoHog Dollars.
How are some of you guys doing thus far? I didn't wake up early enough to buy some big gainers today, but I alrady had Calvin Johnson and Wes Welker on my squad.
Let's hear how some of you guys are doing? What is a realistic RotoHog Dollar Value to get to by Saturday Night when your lineup is set?
The more money we make, the better chance we have at prizes!
Good Luck All,

It's 9:30 P.M. Saturday, and I'm at $327.00 I was out at the Rose Bowl for a tour so I wasn't online at all today.
Cool tour. Saw the new locker room for UCLA, med facilities, went down the tunnel onto the field, saw the Champions wall... got my tickets for Monday night. Good day.
My team now is set for week 1. I've got NASCAR tomorrow, then the UCLA game, and work the rest of the week. Not my time to buy and sell.
My lineup:
Romo Kitna Moss Owens Johnson (Calvin) Barber Perry (Chris) Miller (Zack)
I had to take a chance with Perry to afford Romo, Moss and Owens. I have had Calvin Johnson and Kitna on my team since the start. I think Kitna and Johnson have monster years this year, and preseason says I could be right. Just think what you could do with this team in a regular league... they could just send me the checks today.

Well, my lineup is pretty much set for Week 1, being that it is 537pm pst Saturday night. I may make a tweak, who knows though. I am sitting at $350.00 (6th of Sept). My lineup consists of three true studs, a few stars and then filler that I feel will do well this week. I am not going to disclose who I have on my team though as I still don't understand this game entirely and I don't want people going off of what I have in false hopes. -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

Update! Saturday night, Brandon Jackson expected to play a lot for the Packers tomorrow. If this holds true, I just got him on rotohog for 7.48 to ride my bench in hopes of making money off of him! Best of luck! -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

Zita:
Why buy him now? If this holds true, buy him tomorrow, when you KNOW he's worth more.
If he doesn't play much, you lost two transaction fees buying him and then selling him for someone who DOES do well.
If you're watching the games tomorrow ( and who WONT BE?) better to save your cash for players will make you money FOR SURE!

Ok, I have a question then. Like I said, I am a rookie, so you need to explain why you said what you said. I bought him thinking that once his game starts he is locked in at that price until the next week. I wanted to get him on the cheap. Can you buy players that already played and did well like Santana Moss? -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

So here is what I am heading into Week 1 with, as of Midnight... Warner Big Ben Gore Westbrook Owens Fitzgerald Roy Williams LJ Smith -- I think he catches a TD in this contest, and he is cheap Nedney Jets Defense Basically, I put MOST of my eggs in one basket in the Arizona vs. San Francisco game. Which scares me a little bit, but what the hell. I like their matchups and wouldn't be surprised if that game ends in the high 20's or mid 30's in terms of points. Wish me the Best, and I will wish all of you the best, - Bruno Boys Cavigs www.brunoboys.netPS - I only have $6 on my bench, and having money during the games is nice to have, so you can snag a guy who is rising fast, but Im going to try to maximize my lineup every week and hit the Market first thing Tuesday Morning. I did it that way last year and exceeded $600. Though the transaction fees werent as steep.

I finished with around 133 points.
Should be interesting to see where people sit, some tough plays this week.
I think Turner will be good, but lets see how he runs against a good defense.
Fo now, Parker is the safer pick and in a more consistent offense.

Turner has been the real deal for the last two years. San Diego was paying him RB2 salary to back up Ladainlian...
He will skyrocket when he scores big next week too. Blue light special... grab him while you can.
I see RBs as 1. Westy 2. LT 3. Barber 4. Turner
Thats pretty heavy company

Nice job this week RS. You did pretty good for yourself, NOW KEEP IT UP ;D I have LT & Jones now .I might dump Jones and pick up Parker. I could sell B Marshall now and pick up "The Burner", but those dang transaction fees have me hesitant. As I plan on starting Marshall and dumping Moss until he takes his 15dollar hit. What ya think? Oh yea I bought The panthers te also!

Zita:
In RotoHog, players values are fluid. If they are slotted to play, you can't sell them untill the next tuesday. Everyone else can be bought or sold at any time. Some people keep $30 - $40 during the weekend to buy players like Turner or Cassell ( If he had been available ) knowing that they would go up. I made $4.96 on Turner monday alone.
Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, post or email me, depending on how many people you want to share your strategy with.

I dropped Turner today, and picked up Gore. It seems that the 49ers are going to run the offense through him. I like Gore vs. Seattle much better than Turner vs. Tampa. I know that Reggie Bush had a good day vs. Tampa, but I've got a bad feeling about that game... like they fall behind early and don't run the ball much. Just my gut, but hey, I've gotta do it.
