Hey GWB, Off the top, the squad looks solid.. Glad to see you back on the forums! Would you like to JOIN our Bruno Boys Fan League? We have 2 OWNERS who have not yet entered and are looking to fill a spot. Draft will be sometime before NEXT Thursday first game. If so, let me know ASAP. Good depth and they all should produce at a high level. I'm not big on Jennings this year, but the combo of Jennings/Cotchery will produce at a high level. Though, in my opinion with the league being PPR, Jennings is your WR3 behind Fitz and Cotchery. Now let's hope Galloway can stay healthy to add some depth. Also, Devin Hester could be the X-Factor, it just depends on how many chances Lovie Smith gives him on offense. I love Westbrook, and feel he should have been the 2nd pick in a league that rewards .5 points per reception. Good value at #3. He should be your workhorse ALL YEAR LONG. I like McGahee when healthy, but I'm a bit worried by the fact that he will be attempting to play in week 1 without practicing. Starting 2 RB's though, you have nice depth and should be able to get some decent points out of your RB2. Even with LenDale White losing carries to Chris Johnson, the Titans will run alot, and White still will be seeing plenty of red zone touches. Do you have a backup Quarterback? I liek Matt Schaub, but he isn't a guy you can plug into your lineup EVERY week in my opinion. You will get the most value out of him by playing matchups. I like Scheffler, he is trending up and I imagine you snagged him in about round 10-11. If this is the case, he will have nice value for your draft position. Plus, he really started to catch alot of football towards the end of the year. Overall a good squad, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I think you need another QB to play matchup with on a weekly basis. your RBs are solid but you need McGahee to be injury free and produce. TE, K, Defense aren't bad, not great, but will be serviceable on a weekly basis. Let us know who is on the waiver wire, as we are always wanting to improve your squad. Also, let me know about the LEAGUE. We need to act fast. - Bruno Boys Cavigs www.brunoboys.net

Hey Cavigs,
Thanks for the feedback and the intvite! I shot you an email saying I am interested in joining the league. As for your questions about my roster...
I don't have a backup QB. This was the one thing when I looked back at my roster that I would have changed in how I drafted. I was picking in the 9th and didn't have a TE or QB...I wanted Scheffler as my TE and the QB's on the board I wanted were Garrard, Favre, Bulger & Schaub...looking at the teams that would be drafting before it got back to me in round 10, only 1 still needed a QB1 and I didn't think anyone would really start grabbing QB2's yet, so I figured I should jump on Scheffler and would prob have my choice between 3 of the 4 QB's i listed. Well, as you can guess, 3 of the 4 went off the board before it got back to me and I was thrilled to end up with Schaub. That was my first mistake, but then I could have grabbed Delhomme or Campbell in round 11 as a backup, but didn't. So, to make a long story short, I should've gone with QB1 in round 9, came back in round 10/11 with a QB2 and grabbed either H.Miller in round 11, T.Heap in round 12 or Crumpler in round 13.
As for RB, I was very happy with what I ended up with and my only regret was that another owner scooped up Rice in the 10th, when I was planning on grabbing him in the 11th or 12th. I do have a couple of guys I am watching on the waivers and those are:
RB Hightower Kolby Smith Kevin Jones Ahmad Bradshaw
QB Garcia Jamarcus Leinart Ryan Pennigton
WR Obomanu Matt Jones Devin Thomas James Jones Sidney Rice
I don't think I need to really jump on any of these guys just yet or make any trades until the first couple of weeks. If you feel differently, surely let me know, but I'll problably see how things pan out in the beginning of the season before I make any big moves.
Another thing to consider is that we are only allowed 17 waiver wire moves for the season. Last year I think we had 14, I used all of them and found myself wishing I had 1 or 2 more...so with 17 I should be fine, but don't think I should use them just yet.
Thanks Again! I look forward to your thoughts and those of anyone else who has suggestions.

gwb,
maybe you need to look at some other defenses as well. The Packers defense is very strong and will hold a lot of opponents this season, but they don't create a lot of turnovers, which is where a lot of DEF points come from. I'm not saying you should drop them, but instead of carrying 3 backup WRs you could pick up a backup DEF unit and play match up each week.

I agree with Steger and also is there any QB's on the waiver wires? Maybe a Matt Ryan or something? He could possibly have a solid week in week 1. There has to be somebody out there that you can grab to play the matchups on any given week. -Bruno Boys Ziza Site: www.brunoboys.netEmail: cziza@brunoboys.net AOL Aim: BrunoBoysZiza
