I just dropped LaMont Jordan in my league for Chris Johnson. My thought was that Johnson would be a more serviceable RB3.
But I can't shake this feeling that Jordan is going to be big this year. First of all, its the Patriots and Billichek. They have a history of taking no-name guys and making them great or rejuvenating once star player careers. I keep thinking this whole LaMont Jordan thing not playing because of some secret injury and the Pats not saying a word about it smacks of Randy Moss last year. Now I'm not saying he will put up Moss-like numbers, but consider this: Jordan can do what Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris do combined. He can play every down and he is a great goal line back. The little time he did play in the preseason was a very solid performance and Billicik even admitted he was impressed with Jordan. And the Pats have kept all their other stars out of the preseason (who can blame them with all the preseason injuries to other teams?).
I could pick him back up, but can only have 5 RBs on my roster total, so I would be looking at dropping Chris Perry or Chris Johnson for him.
I would be interested in hearing others' thoughts on Jordan.

Hold onto Chris Perry/Johnson. Lamont Jordan isn't going to all of a sudden have RB2 value. It will be fine. Get a paper bag and breathe in and out. You will calm down. -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

I would keep Johnson and Perry. I can see why you think Jordan can have a revived career in New England, but the problem is you never know what Billichek is going to do. What you do know is, at best Jordan is the 2nd back in a crowded backfield with an unpredictable coach. I think you had the right idea in the first place. Johnson and Perry are both being talked about as possible starters and have a chance to be their teams' primary backs. Both Johson and Perry seem to have more upside then Jordan. -Bruno Boys Larry www.brunoboys.net

I agree with my fellow Bruno Boys, hang on to both Chris Perry and Chris Johnson. If you take a look at our updated top 150, which we released last night, Perry is ranked 88th overall, while Johnson is ranked 103 overall. Both Perry and Johnson have big time updside (Perry had 50 catches just 2 years ago - Johnson is quick, versatile and will get his touches) and are players that have more important roles in their respective offenses. LaMont Jordan (not ranked in our top 150 , or top 50 RB's) might get some work around the goaline, but we all know Bellicheck is going to play anyone at anytime. Heck, Mike Vrabel could get red zone looks before Jordan, you just never know. Also, outside of one good year in Oakland, Jordan hasn't proved much, besides a flash here and there. You made the right decision in snagging Johnson and Perry and don't overthink it, stay put! - Bruno Boys Cavigs www.brunoboys.net

Easy answer:
New England goes 5 wide. NO RB. They do it A LOT.
