Ok...this is the moment we've all been waiting for. I was not lucky enough to get the number one pick this year, however I was lucky enough to land the number three. LT went first, and Brady went second?!?! I took Westbrook number three and AP fell to four. The picks roll and we end up at my pick in the second round. I look to see who is available, and Steven Jackson is at the 5th pick in the second round (8 player league) so I quickly scoop him up.
Here is what I managed to put together. We start: 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 RB/WR 1 WR/TE 1 TE 1 D/ST 1 IDP 1 K
QB -- Palmer (5th round), Bulger (11th round) RB -- Westbrook (1st rnd), SJAX (2nd rnd), M. Lynch (7th rnd), S.Young (10th), C.Taylor (12th), F.Taylor (13th) WR -- Housh (3rd), Burress (4th), Roy Williams (8th), Galloway (14th) TE -- Shockey (6th) IDP -- P.Willis (9th) DEF -- Dallas (15th) K -- J.Brown (16th)
So what do you guys think? My concern is week 4 when I have both Roy and Plaxico out on byes. Besides that, I think SJAX and Lynch were steals

You think? LOL. Marshawn in the 7th round? Even in a 8 team league he should go no where under Round 2. Wow! Drafting with monkeys again? And just wondering, why would you draft Chester Taylor in front of Fred Taylor? -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

Marshawn Lynch is a perennial 1st round pick in most leagues. It truly seems like you were drafting with monkeys, not only with Lynch but with SJax in the 2nd as well. good job.

HAHA...it sure seems that I was drafting with chimps in football jerseys the way some of these picks went....2 kickers being taken by the same team...Andre J. going in the second round ahead of Wayne, Owens, and Edwards. Oh and Ziza, I was just aiming to make the AP owner mad by making it unable to handcuff her stud...I guess I could have waited another round to do it but either way its all good.

Oh and some questions.
Would you rather have McNabb over Bulger because he is sitting out on the waiver wire?
And I really am finding C.Taylor useless so should I drop him for another WR? Namely R.White, Burleson, Mason (ppr league) or Crayton?

I do like Roddy White, and word on the street is McNabb is pretty darn healthy. It is starting to make me wonder as a couple years ago he was argueably the best FF QB until he got hurt. -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

Meh, McNabb is so up and down you can never be sure what to expect from him. I also like Burleson alot, namely because all of the receivers around him are out, making him the ONLY guy haha. And you know Seattle likes to throw the ball. I would pick him or Crayton up.

i kinda agree with burleson being good but matt berry on espn says the absence of engram hurts him bc now the #1 corner plays him and he's easier to double team with obamanu as the only other guy. just something to think abt

when healthy, McNabb is one of my favorite fantasy quarterbacks and I feel he could be a huge sleeper this year. I'd take a flier on him over Bulger since your starter is already established.
and, as others have mentioned, what an incredible job of drafting, Gian. My only concern is Josh Brown. A fairly consistent kicker, I did not write favorably about him in my crystal ball article about him as the stats over the years have shown he's a worse kicker inside a dome than outside one. Still, what an awesome job you did drafting that team.

Steven Jackson has decided to end his holdout and will report to the Rams on Wednesday evening.
He's scheduled to practice Thursday afternoon. The sides have not agreed on a new contract, but Jackson is confident enough that an agreement will be reached to report. He has 18 days to get up to speed in the offense, which is plenty in our opinion. Jackson's fines for missing camp totaled $408,132, although most if not all of that will likely be waived. He remains our No. 3 back in standard leagues. We have Jackson fourth in PPR settings.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Great news for SJAX owners!

I lost out in the race for McNabb....should I keep Bulger? The other QBs out there are Schaub, Rodgers, E.Manning, Delhomme, Campbell, Rivers, and Kitna

Ziza speaks the truth. The only other QB on that list I'd consider would be Schaub, but a healthy Bulger in the Al Saunders offense could be deadly.

I lost out in the race for McNabb....should I keep Bulger? The other QBs out there are Schaub, Rodgers, E.Manning, Delhomme, Campbell, Rivers, and Kitna Gian or Crazy Fazi, Nice Message Board Alias Change Brotha! I'd keep Marc Bulger, the upside is there and don't look into his two interception preseason game. It's the preseason, and now the RAMS have their weapon back. SJAX makes everyone around him better, and in our opinion Bulger is primed to have a bounce back year. However, I would keep both Jake Delhomme and Jason Campbell on your radar as they BOTH have easier matchup during Carson Palmer's bye. Bulger has to take on the New England Patriots in NE Delhomme gets the Arizona Cardinals in Carolina Campbell gets the Detroit Lions at Detroit Both, Bulger and Delhomme have favorable matchups, and very well could be big time plays come week 8, which is Palmer's bye. Still, it's too ealry to snag one of them and drop Bulger, because out of the bunch, Bulger has the most potential. And looking at your roster, you really don't have much to drop and quite frankly you don't want to carry 3 Qb's this early in the season. All the Best, - Bruno Boys Cavigs P.S. - Your team is stacked, and there is no doubt in my mind you win your 3rd straight title in this league! You might want to package one of your WR's and a RB like Selvin Young, Chester Taylor or Fred Taylor to upgrade at WR, ,and try to get 1 more STUD wideout.

Cavigs --
Yea I was kinda getting tired of Gian....too plain and original haha.
Thanks for the advice about Bulger. If I didn't get McNabb I don't think I would have dropped Bulger, as we've all seen how good he can be and I think with everyone back he could be like his old self again.
And I knew I wasn't crazy! To be honest the only receiver I actually like is TJ. I've been trying to shop Plaxico and Roy around. One team has Moss and Wayne so I was hoping to grab one of them from that team.
Problem is I don't know who to offer for who. QB -- Anderson, Leinart RB -- Barber, Bush, Forte, T.Jones, Ricky WIlliams WR -- Moss, Wayne, Ca.Johnson, Hester TE -- Gonzalez IDP -- Urlacher
Any ideas??

stay put? Having Moss or Wayne would be nice but that guy would likely ask for the moon. The rest of your team is incredible so perhaps the best trade here is the one you don't make.

Why on earth was Earnest Graham dropped in your league? lol. Many places have him as a top 15 back! You won't have any of that luck in the Bruno Boys league! You'll have to fight hard for every steal or sleeper you pick up!
