So you got Brees? When did you get him? 3rd or 4th? When did Boldin go? I'm guessing Jackson, Barber were your top 2.
I think Roy Williams, Boldin, and Marshall are good starters. I'm not too high on Williams, but depending on when you got him there's value there. When did Marshall go? I think he still has a lot of value even with the 1-3 game suspension. Maybe that dips his value for others. Walker's a real gamble. There's someone without his heart in it... I hope you got him cheap. I'm not too big on Rudi, but you grabbed Watson so that was smart. I think your depth at RB is spotty and your flex position will be a weekly gamble... but that's not too bad. Solid D and TE positions.
With 10 team leagues, you can really get solid starters, but how do your other teams compare?

Not bad, ANT. I think it is a team that can compete deep into the postseason, and potentially take home the title. Here is a quick breakdown at each position: QB - All you really need is Drew Brees. He will throw his INT's, but has all the playmakers around him to have his career year I have been projecting since 2007 ended. When Brees has his bye, Kitna get the Bears, but he played well against them in 2007. He went for 515 passing yards, 2 TDs and had a 111 QB rating. RB - You have a great 1-2 punch in Jackson and Barber, and these two are the guys that should take you to the promise land. If Jackson can sign his d**n contract and get back into camp, it would ease my concern with him, but way to snag both of these in the top 17 picks. After that it falls off in my opinion. I am not big on Rudi this year, but good job on handcuffing him with Kenny Watson. If anyone needs a handcuff in my opinion, its Rudi. Chester Taylor could have value, esp. if AP goes down, which might be a good bet. Did you know that Ap hasn't played in a full season since high school, I believe? Bradshaw is another guy who provides depth, good speed and could be a nice bye-week placement. Good star power at the position, but did you have a chance to snag a Matt Forte or Thomas Jones? WR - Boldin will produce, and is a reception machine. Leinart likes him, and I think he is a borderline #1, but will be serviceable if your RB's can get you big points. When Marshall comes back, he will be a solid receiver, and he is still in line to get over 80 receptions. What round did you get him in? I am a big fan of Roy Williams this year. He won't be a top 10 wide receiver, but I think he is going to put together a complete season, and perhaps his finest in the NFL. It is his contract year, you know! Reggie Brown is a good guy to have for depth purposes, and if he can contiued his rapport he built with McNabb at the end of the last year, could be a great weekly option for you in the RB/WR if your RB's dont pan out What round did you take Javon Walker, because he is been nothing but an issue in Raider land, and who knows what to expect with him. Personally, it's not a terrible pick, because you have lots of WR, so you can stash Walker deep on your bench until you need his roster space. If he is producing, you have another option, if not you can just dumb him. Actually a good pick if you snagged him towards the last round. TE - Shockey will produce, score more than 1 TD like 2007, and should be a top 6 fantasy tight end. He won't be considered a heavyweight at the position, but he can compete with the likes of Witten, Winslow and Gates, and chop into their points difference when you play those TEs K - Good job with Kaeding... Always grab a kicker ina top offense. Def- The Patriots will produce, have a soft schedule, will force turnover, limit points and will be your defense from Week 1 through Week 17. Nice Pick. Overall, I would rate your team a B+. It would have been an A or A- if you have a better option as your 3 RB. If you played in a league that did not start the FLEX position, and just 2 RB, I would have rated your team an A. Good Work and keep us posted. -Bruno Boys Cavigs www.brunoboys.net

Thanks guys. I would show you the sequence of my draft, but my commissioner put the picks in by position. For example, all QBs are first round picks. Here are my first 6 rounds though.
Round 1: Steven Jackson Round 2: Marion Barber Round 3: Drew Brees Round 4: Anquan Boldin Round 5: Roy Williams Round 6: Rudi Johnson
Thanks guys.

I just picked up Maurice Morris to help my RB depth.
Which RB should I try to trade for? I feel like Rudi could be a steal. Other than last year, he had been one of the most consistent fantasy RBs. Maybe he gets back on track.
Thanks for the help

Should I trade
Chester Taylor and Isaac Bruce for Kenny Watson and Nate Burleson
I feel like I need a WR, and with Engram out for a while, Burleson could be great.

ANT, I think this trade is worth your while. Burleson will now be the top option in Seattle for at least the first 4 weeks, AND he is in a better passing offense than the 49ers (even with Martz the new chief in San Francisco). As for dealing Chester Taylor, you give up a little at the RB position, but it's not a big deal in my opinion. I think Kenny Watson is A MUST for insurance for the round that you drafted Rudi Johnson in. I say you do the trade, as you are adding depth at WR (though you don't need it) and grabbing a RB in Watson who I wouldn't be surprised that if by the end of the year he was playing a similar role to that of 2007. - Bruno Boys Cavigs

ant, I've got to be honest here. I like your starters but I'm hating the bench. I also concur with Cavigs on the trade.
Brandon Marshall - I like him but he's going to miss the first three games. Javon Walker - Has been awful in camp and is flip-flopping on whether or not to retire. Isaac Bruce - Well past his prime and is on a team with serious QB questions. Ahmad Bradshaw - Jacobs is the guy and if he's hurt, Derrick Ward is also there. Kenny Watson - Unless Perry gets hurt, Watson's role is small. Jon Kitna - Throws more INTs than TDs, plus Martz is gone. Chester Taylor - Nice pick considering Peterson is injury prone. But if Peterson doesn't get hurt, I don't see Taylor matching his numbers from last year.

Ant,
I wanted to start by saying you had a solid draft. You have a stud QB1, an above average running game, solid receivers, and a real nice TE, K and D.
All that being said I love the fact that you are not standing pat and you have already improved your team. I think Barber for LJ is pretty much a wash, although Dallas has a better offense and a better line. I think Johnson for Williams is a slight advantage to you, because CJ is on a much better offense, but like Cavigs said Roy is in a contract year and could have his best nfl season yet, but as a Lions fan I like CJ over Roy. As Roy plays for Lions and trust me (I am from Detroit) the Lions are a bad team. Where I think you really improved your team is by adding T. Jones. I think everything is set of for Jones to be a comeback player of the year candidate. The Jets have added veterans Al Faneca and D. Woody to make an extremely solid O-line and Jones' td production will go up. I also believe Favre helps take pressure off the running game. I love the fact that you were able to get him essentially for a backup running back in Taylor and nice move handcuffing his backup in the same trade, very nice.
I also see that you ended up dumping Kitna for Schaub, once again, take it from a Lion's fan, nice move. Kitna will once again spend a lot of time on his back as the Lions did not do much to improve a pourus O-line. I also think Schaub is a sleeper candidate this year. If he and A. Johnson can remain healthy this year, I see the Texans offense taking big strides this year.
Nice draft and trade. Good luck this season.

Glad to see that deal was made man! And as I said and now Bruno Boys Larry has said as well, Thomas Jones is a huge bonus. Didn't I tell ya, you don't really lose anything swapping Barber and LJ, you gain some at the WR position and of course you grab a RB2 in the deal, Thomas Jones and his HC, for essentially a bag of peanuts. Excellent way of taking advantage of someone's manlove for certain players! Larry will attest to this, it can be a powerful downfall to many owners! We were drafting in a baseball league last year and two of the owners decided to grab all the Tigers MUCH earlier than expected, including Brandon Inge in the 5th I believe it was. Anyone familiar with this knows that Inge could have gone undrafted in most leagues! Anyways, I am getting off subject, great deal for you! You just now gained insurance in case you have an injury at RB! I have always enjoyed having at least 3 quality RB's on your team as they are hard to come by. Best of luck! -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

Quick question guys.
My fantasy team as of now (listed in my signature) is full of RBs and not too many WRs. We start 2 RBs, 1 WR/RB, and 3 WRs. I'm fine going with that many RBs to start the season, but if Reggie Brown can't play week 1, I need to drop somebody.
Are there any players on my team that you feel I should drop for a WR? Some WRs available are...Justin Gage, Chris Henry, Amani Toomer, Laurent Robinson, Drew Bennet, Josh Morgan
Thanks
Anthony

If anything, Rudi and Maurice are both expendable if you can get the right WR's during certain weeks. -Bruno Boys Ziza Site: www.brunoboys.netEmail: cziza@brunoboys.net AOL Aim: BrunoBoysZiza
