Hey all. I'm new to this site. I've seen and heard from Marc at RotoHog since last football season.
I'm a Dolphin fan. Yeah, I know, but I was also there in 70-72 when we owned the NFL. Dolphin fan for life.
We've got Ronnie Brown, who should be a monster this next year in fantasy.
I look forward to the season... good luck to all.
RS,
Whats going on my main man? Glad to have you around town here at Bruno Boys Fantasy Football.
I am enjoying the baseball league over at RotoHog, but I can't wait for football to start. It should be a great league, and should have some nice prizes. Plus our little side bet that we need to create the details for.
As for the Dolphins, I'm a big fan of your quarterback John Beck and I hope he wins the job. I'm a die-hard BYU fan (though not Mormon) and want to see Beck do well. I hope Parcells gives him a chance.
I have to admit, I think Ronnie Brown is up to some big things this year if the knee can hold up. He was running tough last year, and was hitting linebackers and safties like a a MAC truck. Hopefully he doesn't favor that knee, because I feel that the Dolphins go as Brown goes.
I look forward to having you around and remember to check out www.brunoboys.net on a daily basis!!
Hey guys...new to the site. Saw some posts by Marc in RotoHog and followed through to the site. I'm from Philly....and bleed the midnight green of our nations emblem...the Eagles. Looking forward to a great '08 for the birds, and in fantasy.

Where's the registration for teams?
Clueless,
What's going on buddy. Welcome to Bruno Boys Fantasy Football. It's been quite a race in the RotoHog baseball league, what place are you sitting in right now? I'm sitting at 87th (-11/+24 IP). I like my chances, but it's going to be an uphill battle.
Also, when are your Eagles going to get themselves a top tier wide receiver. With a healthy McNabb, they should try to make a deal to get Ocho Cinco. That would tremendously improve the value of Curtis and Brown.
Finally, do you think Westbrook will hold up in 2008, I have him slated as the #4 running back on the draft cheat sheets, but will durability be an issue as he gets older?
As for the registration for teams, what do you mean by this? We are a content driven website, but if you head over to www.brunoboys.net you will be able to sign up for an account and manage all of your fantasy sports teams through the Bruno Boys website.
I didn't know if your site was just info and chat related...or if you also ran your own leagues. If you run leagues I'll probably throw a team in there.
Regarding RH I think I'm in the low 200's in actual standings, and something like #56 in the adjusted. I think I'm in the hunt but it's gonna come down to who gets the most out of their IP. I probably started too slow to get that Mustang, but a top 20 might be within reach.
As for Eagles...all of us in Philly would love a true #1 WR. There was pre-draft talk of Lito Sheppard and pick(s) for Fitzgerald. That woulda been sweet. Andy Reid has had a great run in Philly, but at times he's just too d**n stubborn. He wants to win his way, and he sticks to his thought of "we can run the offense with a bunch of decent WR's...we don't have to have a great one."
Westbrook is a stud. Forget McNabb. Westbrook is the one guy we can't afford to lose. I think this is D Mac's last year here to show he can still win and still be top shelf QB. Reid has been stubborn there too. T.O. wasn't that far off base in his last days here. Love him or hate him, he played hard and well. Our best year, and D Mac too...was when T.O. was here. I think that just proves what this team could do with a bonafide #1 WR.
Westbrook...barring the big injury (who really knows?) will probably play his usual 13-15 games and miss a game or two with minor stuff. They try to keep him healthy, as well they should.
A couple things on Eagles that have gone under the radar...1)the D is improved and has more depth. A couple of last year's picks are ready to step up, and they added a couple of guys up front to keep everyone fresh for their blitzing style. 2)a lot of offseason moves appeared minor, but they were aimed at depth and special teams. That doesn't stand out as far as media attention...but it's the single biggest area that cost us at least 2-3 games last year. I look for them to get 10-11 wins and be back in playoffs.
...apologies for any inappropriate bologna or stupidity earlier. Just chattin'.
There is nothing inappropriate about your posts. In fact, you got my juices flowing when you started talking about the Eages, Westbrook, T.O., and how d**n conservatice Andy Reid is!!
...and just so you know, I am a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan, and I still have mad love for T.O. Even though he is on the hated Dallas Cowgirls.
Lets keep the posts going, and if you want to be interviewed by one of our staff writers, read a thread in a different spot of the message board, and contact him. It will appear on our main site, www.brunoboys.net. We are trying to get as interactive as possible with our fan base in 2008.
Thanks Clueless (although your quite knowledgeable)
