Alright ladies, I am keeping track of who is being fair and unfair. The unfair ones get horrible advice from us Bruno Boys this year! Just kidding! I wanted to throw some humor out there. This is supposed to be a fun league where everybody gets a little something from us! Granted, what has happened is probably pretty irritating, but let bygones be bygones! What about just redrafting Friday or Saturday? Is that possible for you all? The commish already feels like our competition does, beaten and worn like a used 2-dollar hooker! This isn't the end of the world! Most people I am guessing have other leagues already. So what is the big deal? Just redraft! My top reasons for redrafting!!! 1) Do you really want to brag about winning a league where half the people didn't really participate? 2) Are we really going to let redrafting get in the way of what has been great friendship so far on there forums? 3) With these new rivalries, a redraft would allow for even more meaning in the league! 4) This draft was meant to be a payback to our fans. All of us Bruno Boys staff were looking foward to two solid leagues that can grow even bigger next year. Are you all really going to crash a league because of this? Not trying to say what about us, but that really isn't much of a thank you to the Bruno Boys for all the hard work and time we invest into each and every one of you. There has to be some sort of common ground! As a great man once said, look down and check to see if you have anything swinging. If you do, you are a man! So act like one. :0) -Bruno Boys Ziza www.brunoboys.net

depending on times i might be able to do fri or sat, tho I do have plans... I am game if the time works out, otherwise might there be someone who would want to replace me? or co-manage the team and handle the drafting?

Okay Ziza,
I no longer feel like a strangely used college girl after the Girls Gone Wild bus just left my town. But speaking of 2 dollar hookers, I do have a strange itch after spending some time with this nice Ron Mexico fella...
But that's another story. Ziza's got a point. If everyone is up to it we can draft again. As others have said drafting is one of the most fun parts of the season... so why rush it?
I'm emailing the league tonight to see about times. Would a Friday or Sat. night work? Do people have "real" jobs during the day or could they draft late on a Friday afternoon?
Let's see what we can do.

Thank you jshriev and nohes. Here are the choices before us (I've emailed the league and posted on the league message board as well).
We have 3 options on the table:
1) Take the draft (auto picks and all) as is and I'll input the rosters
2) Take the draft, and schedule a redraft mid-season to shuffle things around and allow everyone another chance at drafting.
3) Take Ziza's advice and draft this Fri/Sat night or Friday afternoon
Please let me know. I'm posting this here, emailing the league, and posting on the BB Forum. There should be no reason that all of us, all 12 of us shouldn't be able to come to a conclusion about how to move forward.
I'm in favor of a redraft. And really those of you that already did the draft in any of it's two forms are more prepared. Mock drafting is a key part to draft success and I'm considering you guys ahead of the curve for a new draft.

Sunday is an absolute no-go for me. (theoretically, after about 8 would work, but we absolutely cannot miss week one) I actually like option one the best. Let's get the season started.

I am still in favor of a re-drat but unfortunately I think the only feasible option would be to import the rosters as is. Shuffling it up midseason by redarfting is also fine by me.

League, I am glad we are working hard to get this issue resolved and I thank you all for being patient. Also, I am intrigued by the dedicated interest in the frustration taking place for a free league. You all do have a great passion for FANTASY FOOTBALL! Finally, I would like to back Paul (DBQ) and just wanted to reinform you that he is a stand up guy, and as you can see he feels terrible about what happened. We all make mistakes, and I'd like to blame ESPN for half the issue, because who in the hell is going to do a DRAFT at 9:00 AM eastern. Thats 6:00 A.M. on the west coach, which might I add is the BEST COAST. HAHA.... Keep me posted on the OUTCOME, and as soon as I get the product, I will need all of your mailing addresses. - Bruno Boys Cavigs www.brunoboys.net

I would prefer option 1 or 2 only because I don't have much time between now and Sunday to do another draft...If the majority wants to do a redraft before the season starts, then the only day I could maybe do it would be Saturday and I will have to check what times would work for that day. If we do another draft, I agree with nohesitation that we would need to set a new draft order.

I am booked solid from friday through the weekend. so its either #1 for me or i would happy to bow out if someone else wants my slot and the league can redraft. As said above this was supposed to be a fun league and right now all this is making it no fun.

Thanks Cavigs for the kind words. I've cried, beat my dog, drank a few, and fired my shotgun in the air... I hear that's what I'm suppose to since I'm living in WI now. I'm over feeling bad... now's it's time for the league to move forward and have a fun season, while kicking the crap out of the second Bruno Boys league.
If this league wanted to show why it's better, here's our chance. We are a better league, better owners, and better FF players.
If you can take the team, any team your given and turn it around - there's fantasy football talent. Drafting is a key start, but winners are made in responding to trends and being ahead of them during the season.
Can you predict trends? Having good players on your roster is fine, but who has the explosive week?
Draft guides are great, but it is the day in and day out research and analysis that is going to set your team apart. If you are confident in a player, make a trade and put your predraft work to the test.
Given those that have replied, schedules are a mess. My challenge is this:
Put your skills to the test... use the league roster as is, trade, pick up players, and we will redraft again after week 6 (if we can find a time).
I want more input from others in the league, since only half of us have really been vocal on this.

throwing another idea out there:
would it be more fair to the majority to take draft #1 results (the one on espn @ 9 am that only 2 people were logged into) ?

Seanroto,
Good question. Unfortunately, I reset the draft shortly after it's completion Tuesday morning. I did so because with emails and forum postings I expected us to be able to get a draft going later that night or another day. I did not foresee the mess it became.
So there are no results left.

I did just get the rosters from the 9am draft. Thank you Seanroto... I had forgotten they were emailed out.
Since there isn't another time everyone can get together our options are to either go with the 9AM or 9PM draft results.
Please vote before 10 PM EST tonight: Please use the ESPN league email feature to cast your vote:
AM results or PM results
I will tally to votes tonight and input which ever roster is the plurality choice. I know that not everyone may vote, but this is as close to far as we can get right now.
Everyone received an email after the 9am draft with the results. Seanroto, Nohesitation, and the others in the 9PM draft emailed the results to everyone as well.
I ask you to vote based on which roster choice is fair, not which one gives you a "better" team.

DBQ,
So, we're using the results from the PM draft then? When will the teams be put in?

With the results of voting as of 11:30 EST, we will use the PM draft results.
I started entering them in, but I needed to go back and up the position cap based on the auto draft results.
I will enter them in tomorrow...

The rosters (from the PM draft) are now entered.
Please make any roster moves and trades you need to. After putting these rosters in, there are plenty of moves we all could make.
